Phil Thompson is quickly becoming one of the freshest faces in the New Age music circle. His delicate piano compositions and original arrangements awaken the imagination in every way imaginable.

Phil's most recent album, "Twelve Songs of Christmas" is a testament to Phil's growth as both artist and performer. Phil has also recently completed work on his first motion picture score. Directed by Dennis Mahoney and narrated by Lou Bellamy, Footsteps – A Journey In Faith, is a compelling piece on the inner-faith dialogue in today’s society. As twelve religious leaders from different faiths travel to Israel to discuss many challenging inner-faith issues, the plot is moved forward by touching music throughout. The theme of this film incorporates Phil’s trademark piano style, however it also includes impressive string and woodwind pieces as well.

In addition to his own recordings, Phil believes strongly in giving back to the community through his music. Recently, when the 35W Bridge Tragedy happened literally in Phil's backyard, he was moved deeply to do something. Within days, the acclaimed tribute song and video "Final Ride Home" was released as a memorial to the lives lost, and a tribute to the efforts of rescue workers. 100% of the proceeds of this song (available on iTunes and YouTube) go to the Twin Cities Chapter of the Red Cross. To date, "Final Ride Home" has had thousands of downloads, raising both awareness and funds for this tragedy.
